Destiny 2 Ascendant Challenge Week 4 – Crush First Queen’s Crown

Ascendant Challenge – Crush First Queen’s Crown Beneath Bootheel Portal Jumping Puzzle

The weekly bounty description you get from Petra Venj tells you to “crush the First Queen’s crown beneath your bootheel.” This is a very dramatic way to say that you need to climb the statue of the First Queen. Said statue is in the Harbringer’s Seclude, the area northeast of Rheasilvia. Basically, you have to make it all the way through the area until you find an enormous statue that’s covered in weird, black growths. The Ascendant Portal is on top of the statue. Of course, in order to see the portal, you’ll have to consume Tincture of Queensfoil.

The Last Wish raid in Destiny 2 Forsaken has gone live a week ago, and most of the players haven’t had luck finishing it. It’s a difficult affair, and the first fireteam to beat it took 19 hours. You’ll need to be well over the recommended power level, but you’ll also need good communication. Even without being able to finish the raid, some players expressed the desire to go back to a previous checkpoint – either to look for secret chests, try their luck at getting the secret emblem, or something else entirely. In this guide, we’re going to show you how to reset Last Wish raid in Destiny 2.

How to restart Last Wish raid in Destiny 2?

At this point, it looks like you can’t really restart progress on the raid. The game remembers where you left off even if you leave, so you can return to your last checkpoint and not have to slog through the entire ordeal at once. Some people claim you can join a fireteam with an earlier checkpoint to get around this, but we haven’t been able to test it, so your mileage may vary.

Ascendant chests are secret chests in Destiny 2 Forsaken. They can be found around the Dreaming City, hidden on invisible platforms. There’s ten of them, and they reset each week. After the Last Wish raid was completed for the first time, their locations were changed. If you’re having trouble finding them in their new spots, our Destiny 2 Ascendant Chest locations guide will help you.

How to find ascendant chests?

In order to find an ascendant chest, you must first drink a Tincture of Queensfoil. This consumable item will grant you the Ascendance buff, which allows you to see Taken portals and invisible platforms. Once you’ve downed a bottle, you’ll have super sight for the next thirty minutes. Use that time to seek out the invisible platforms and complete the jumping puzzles that guard the chests. Each chest should contain a bottle of Tincture as well, so you only need to find one before the effects wear off to make it worth your while.
